What is this #Sajje tag

Sajje is a term to represent musical event which held using instruments in Srilanka. also called mat party. sajje is an very entertaining event. everyone sing songs together or alone.

#Sajje is an musical event which srilankan twitters wage on twitter such as sinhala blogger's blog marathon. some srilankan twitters start to tweet some parts of sinhala songs in their leisure time. as i still remember liswish callkalpa & binku tweet some songs & replied to that songs. and also re-tweeted them. but they didnt uses a single tag.

after that one day (28th October 2009) mahesharandara tweet a part of a song. & re-tweeted by binku. after that replied udaraumd & discussed further. then
acording to buddyj suggested to use #sajje for that discussions & songs. and also they hope do this topic as a trending topic on twitter. so most of srilankan twitters tweets that night using #sajje tag. most of them was songs.

after that some people started to put some funny ads on that. some are pass hints to others. some people replied from another songs. some are re-tweeted them. that day this event was very popular & they held it till passing midnight also.

after that every Saturday held this. but now they tweet whole week using #sajje tag. but still most of them tweet Saturday night.
